Palm Beach County's Largest Credit Union Teams Up With Others To Benefit Children With Cancer

Miramar, FL (PRWEB) May 19, 2008 -- Tropical Financial Credit Union, One of South Florida's largest credit unions, and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Ellis, announced they will be sponsoring Comedy Cures Live! - A Night At The Improv on Thursday, May 15th benefiting children with cancer (http://www.tropicalfcu.org/home/about.Pressreleases.pr_comdedy_cures). The event is set to take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale; tickets are just $20 and can be purchased at any branch location or by contacting the credit union directly.

Raffle tickets are included in the price of admission. Raffle prizes include a Family Fun Pack of bowling, $100 gift certificate to Staples, VIP Package from the Improv and a Car Care Package from Al Hendrickson Toyota.

"This is one night where people will forget their sorrows and come have an amazing, fun and exciting time," said Cina Tucci of Tropical Financial Credit Union. "Organizing this fundraiser for cancer has been very important to us; this is a fantastic organization to be helping."

The Children's Cancer Center is the only free pediatric oncology treatment center for children with cancer (http://www.tropicalfcu.org/home/about.Pressreleases.pr_branch_opening) in the southeastern United States. The center covers treatment costs for eligible patients from infancy through age 20, or until treatments are completed.
